2021, THE SHOW MUST GO ON
This strange and difficult year is coming to an end, and we did not want to close it (with a double turn of the key and throwing it to the bottom of the sea) without first thanking you for having opened the doors of so many homes and souls in this 2020, to let us accompany you and lull you in our own way, in all those hours of slow uncertainty at home. Thank you for letting us make it more beautiful, comfortable and harmonious for you. We feel enormously honored and proud to be part of your most intimate side.
Despite being the year in which we have moved the least, we have not stopped creating experiences through travel, as our DNA marks us, because even without being able to embark anywhere, we have found inspiration to create sensory journeys through our collections.
The year began, without us having any idea of what was coming, aboard the Orient Express, touring Europe from end to end and turning the cities of its most emblematic stops into muses. That's where we were, with one foot in Paris, the other in London and the heart in Istanbul, when everything stopped and we had to return home.
For us, who have spent our lives traveling the world, it was an unprecedented growth exercise, because in a few months we undertook an adventure as or more interesting than the ones we used to have, this time without leaving home or our own skin. El Viaje hacia Adentro made the most basic, the most intimate, the softest and the simplest things essential? Then came the nostalgia with all its force and we began to miss a lot what was once the norm: walks outdoors, family hugs, friends nearby... So, when it was finally possible, with the arrival of the heat, created the Renacer where we pay tribute to the ritual of waiting and preparing the house to receive our loved ones, which we miss so much.
And now, as we cross the border from one year to another, we find ourselves in Berlin, in 1920, the city of euphoria and contrasts, after a war and a pandemic, where three women from different cities are fascinated by the naughtiness of the Kabarett and the effervescence of the Bauhaus school.
So, Ladies and Gentlemen, Meine Damen und Herren, Mesdames et Messieurs,the show must go on!
We will try to draw a thick veil over everything that hurts and has hurt, stretching a beautiful linen throw of hope, because, although pain and fear are part of life, we believe that there are gestures that change everything and provide spirals of relief and well-being, and whose epicenter is in the chest, that is, in the very heart of the space you inhabit.
As the year begins, we are committed to continue sheltering you, to give you moments of comfort, and to help you feel that your space belongs to you because you have filled it with yourself through the things that make you feel good. To continue to find yourself in a changing universe. New adventures are coming that will bring us motivation to be better.
It is now, more than ever, that those of us who work creating beauty have to step up to the plate while we wait for the world to recover and catch up with us.
We are here for whatever you need. You already know it.
