A Colonial Christmas

A Colonial Christmas

A train that was born to connect a wild world, but became a reality. In 1896 the British Empire decided to build a line connecting a newly born Kenya with Lake Victoria. So outlandish was the idea that it was labeled lunatic, and so it was named. Even today you can still travel aboard the Lunatic Train. And with this Christmas table we remember it, as a place where the colonial meets the meets with the wild, to achieve something unique, difficult to reproduce.
