A photo album on a platter
Manuela and I are very much in tune in this sense. Our mutual friends dread our vacation returns because we always organize several meals, as a perfect excuse to show each of our photos, and relate every instant.
It is for this reason that we decided that in one way or another our collections should retain those moments, many of them real, others the product of our imagination, but always the result of the experience that each destination gave us: the underplates and trays of each collection are in charge of capturing those moments.
Since we started this adventure we have wanted each collection to be full of stories and without a doubt the best place to tell them is around a table. On our first trip to Africa together we met Sabi Sandthe best place in the world to go on safari. There you can meet the animal world for the first time. I still remember the hot nights lying in bed under the fan, listening to the sounds of nature.

The Mali bassoplato was born one night thanks to a local storyteller, called Griots. They have been responsible since the Middle Ages for preserving the legends, battles and traditions of the tribes by word of mouth. Throughout the night and around the fire we were transported to the birth of the Mali empire, and the heroic figure of the Lion of Mali, who united the small villages against a bloodthirsty enemy.
During our journey through Morocco, and under the umbrella of the Despertares collection, Rabat and Marrakesh were born. They are some of my favorite underplates, ideal for now that the good weather is coming. Their turquoise and aqua green tones go wonderfully with any outdoor environment.

The hearts of Elizabeth Bishop and Lota de Macedo Soares beat intensely during the past spring, leaving as a legacy a series of two underplates, different in size and shape, that transport you to the humid afternoons of the Atlantic forest in Petrópolis, Brazil.

Shamba and Calafia were the last to arrive in our cupboard, but they are not the least important! Green, lime, midnight blue and beige bring contrast to the animals of the savannah. The tree and the pastures in the Shamba merge with the animals that inhabit it and become indivisible, as it is impossible to imagine one without the other. This collection celebrates nature and the animals that feed on it, the true masters of the savannah.
Meanwhile, the Calafia design, available in sand and dark brown, conforms to the colors of the 1960 California desert and pays homage to the goddess that gave rise to the name of that land.
The trays
From the heart of the Swedish forests, from the best birch wood, come our trays. They are pure Swedish craftsmanship made in Nybro, to which we have applied our exclusive designs. The resulting symbiosis is perfect: design and functionality.
A tray makes life easier. When someone puts things on a tray, it means that they are easy to answer and resolve. And that's how we want to reach your home: beautifying and making your day-to-day life easier.
In addition to being able to complete the under plates of the Shamba and Petrópolis collections, with their corresponding trays, I would like to point out that you can complement your table with wonderful Paisley prints or with the black and white so distinctive of our first African collections.

This is how we pamper every detail of everything we want to be part of your home. As you will see, behind every object there is a story, a tale, a moment that has been important for both Manuela and me.
Our collections are nothing more than a personal photo album, in which through colors, materials, memories and stories, we tell you a little bit more about us each season.
